Mazin Joins the Fairfield Youth Advisory Committee

Congratulations to Fairfield participant Mazin for securing a place on the Fairfield Youth Advisory Committee (YAC). The YAC, a formal advisory committee of Fairfield City Council, gives young people in Fairfield City a voice and the chance to advocate for the needs of local youth.

On Friday, Global Skills had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Refugee Youth Service Expo 2025 with thanks to the Lebanese Muslim Association (LMA) and Settlement Services International (SSI).

Inclusive Employment Australia Program: Launching 1 November 2025

The Australian Government’s Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program will start on 1 November 2025. Global Skills will be delivering IEA in Hornsby, Baulkham Hills, Parramatta, Auburn, Merrylands, Mount Druitt, Blacktown, Seven Hills, Ryde, Brookvale, Chatswood, Campbelltown, Camden, Narellan, Ingleburn, Farfield, Cabramatta and Wetherill Park. We are excited to expand our services to both participants and employers in these regions.

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Australian Defence Force (ADF) representatives to Global Skills Wyong. The session was designed for our young participants, aged 17 to 24, who were interested in starting a career with the ADF.
