Today is the International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD), a United Nations day that encourages awareness, understanding and inclusion for people with disability. This year’s theme, ‘Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress’, reminds us of the importance of removing barriers and ensuring everyone has equal opportunities to take part in community life, including work.
