The Personal Cyber Security: Next Steps guide is the second in a series of three guides, from the Australian Cyber Security Centre, designed to help everyday Australians understand the basics of cyber security, and how you can take action to protect yourself from ever-evolving cyber threats.
Australians are urged to take simple steps to better protect themselves from common online threats and cybercrime during Cyber Security Awareness Month during October.

He says his passion for working with people with disabilities came from spending his gap year in England.
Erin Mathews, one of our Work Retention Officers in our Centralised Services team was heading down the career path of teaching, when she “switched her thinking” and chose Employment Services instead.

Ven Panicker is Global Skills Regional Marketing Coordinator and remembers his decision to move from a product orientated career to one that is human centred, thanks to the kindness of a stranger.
“Stay persistent and remain confident that you will find a good job, it’s for your future and for that of your children,” said Global Skills job seeker, Angelica Adrias.
Global Skills is aiming to make a difference to the lives of those within our communities who are struggling with homelessness by identifying new partners and connecting them to our existing welfare connections to provide direct, hands on support in areas which we operate.
