​Yesterday, Global Skills had the pleasure of participating in the Central Coast Future Choices Expo, organised by Central Coast Group Training (CCGT).

Global Skills Wetherill Park is hosting an Information Session on 9 April at 10:30am for a Generation Australia delivered, 4-week online course. This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to step into the rewarding role of Disability Support Worker.

Global Skills is proud to continue our sponsorship of the Minchinbury Jets. Yesterday, two players from our 2025 sponsored team, Tayllon and Noah, participated in the launch of the NRL Multicultural Round.

Congratulations to Amelia, a Global Skills Transition to Work participant, for successfully completing the ‘Building the Future’ program, facilitated by CCGT (Central Coast Group Training) and CTQ (Construction Training Qualifications).

Last Wednesday, Global Skills’ Brookvale team and Community Engagement Consultant had the privilege of hosting Amy from the Domestic Violence team at Local Kind Northern Beaches. It was an insightful session where we learned about the support services available in our local area.

Today, 21 March 2025, is Harmony Day. A day to celebrate our cultural diversity, from the oldest continuous culture of our first Australians to the cultures of our newest arrivals from around the world.

This week, 17-23 March, we celebrate Neurodiversity Celebration Week. With around 15-20% of the population having a neurological difference, this week is all about challenging misconceptions, breaking down barriers, and recognising the strengths and talents of neurodivergent individuals.
