Global Skills Picton Hosts Women's Recruitment Drive

Last week, Global Skills Picton hosted a Recruitment Drive dedicated to supporting women looking  to enter or re-enter the workforce with thanks to Local Jobs Program Sydney South West.

This event was a wonderful opportunity for employers and service providers to engage with our female job seekers, discussing potential employment opportunities and outlining available support services, including gender specific support, to facilitate their journey into meaningful employment.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the employers and services who participated in this initiative:

  •       SSI Home Care
  •       Thrive Refugee Enterprise
  •       Mobready
  •       ARA Leanne Dowie
  •       Primo
  •       Settlement Services International Limited (SSI)
  •       Services Australia
  •       Kids First Australia
  •       Programmed
  •       Asset College
  •       MTC Recruitment

One of the highlights of the event was the presence of Dylan Carkeet from Acciona, who extended employment opportunities to our First Nations participants.

Global Skills is  committed to maintaining the connections made at the Recruitment Drive, ensuring every job seeker receives the support they need to thrive in the workforce.

We are planning a second recruitment drive for women at Global Skills Wetherill Park in April. If you would like more information, speak with your Global Skills Employment Consultant.
