Global Skills is committed to supporting parents on their journey to finding meaningful employment. On Tuesday, we had the privilege of hosting the first of three scheduled Parent Advisory Groups with the aim of providing a platform for discussions about the experience of parents who are looking to return or enter the workforce.
Our first Advisory Group was held In Bankstown. We were joined by 8 parents who shared their experiences and insights into the realities of raising a family whilst looking for work. From navigating tight schedules to managing the increasing cost of living, the conversations confirmed the need for tailored support for parents looking for work.
We’re continuing the conversation with upcoming Advisory Groups set to take place in Campbelltown (15 March) and Liverpool (21 March). If you are a parent and a Global Skills job seeker we invite you to join us.
