Last Wednesday, Global Skills had the opportunity to attend the Youth Fest Carnival at Wyong with thanks to Oasis Youth Services. 

The event, which celebrated Youth Week, supported and celebrated young people aged 12 to 18, featuring carnival games, prizes and food alongside a range of local youth services.

Jennifer, our Community Engagement Coordinator, said, “Global Skills was proud to be able to support Oasis Youth Services and we were excited to be involved on the day. The event allowed young people to think about their future, to think about their ‘dream job’ and start planning for it. It was a really enjoyable day.”

Oasis Youth Services, part of The Salvation Army, provides vital support to young people across the Central Coast, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and Hunter regions, helping them on their journey to independence.
