Sydney Pride Month, June 2025, celebrates diversity, unity, and equality under the theme Love, Respect, Empower.

Glenn Hansen, co-ordinator of the Sydney Pride Festival, references the theme, “It’s about love, respect, and empowerment. It’s about coming together as a community – not just to party, but to remember why we have the freedoms we have today.”

Global Skills is proud to stand with the LGBTQ+ community, championing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Pride Month is a meaningful opportunity for all of us to show our support and celebrate the progress made. Here’s how you can get involved:

1. Attend an event:

   If you run a business or service, consider joining ACON’s Welcome Here Project. Global Skills has proudly been part of the initiative since 2021.
