This week, Global Skills is proud to support National Skills Week, taking place from 25 to 31 August 2025. 

It’s an opportunity to raise awareness of the wide range of career pathways available through apprenticeships, traineeships, short courses and diplomas. 

This year’s theme, ‘Explore ALL the options’, encourages everyone looking for new opportunities to consider Vocational Education and Training (VET). It’s a strong pathway into growing industries like health, construction, digital tech and aviation. There’s a wide range of options to suit people at different life stages, whether you’re still at school, have recently finished, are returning to work or want to reskill.
