Global Skills is excited to announce our organisation has been awarded contracts to deliver the Australian Government’s Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program in Central Western Sydney, Fairfield, Macarthur, Northern Sydney and Outer Western Sydney regions. The contracts were recently awarded following a tender carried out by the Department of Social Services with delivery of the program to begin on 1 November 2025.
IEA will replace Disability Employment Services, a program Global Skills has been delivering since 2006. Designed to create a more inclusive future for people with a disability, injury and/or a health condition, IEA places each person’s unique goals and needs at the heart of the program. Participants will receive personalised support to prepare for, secure and maintain meaningful employment.
On being awarded Inclusive Employment Australia contracts, Global Skills Director Rebecca Nicholls said, “These contracts include an expansion of our services which will enable us to support an even greater number of Australians with disability, injury and/or a health condition. This supports our Purpose to ‘Make a World of Difference’ by offering employment services that remove barriers to employment, promote inclusion, and create equal opportunities for all.
“Securing these contracts is a testament to the strength and diversity of our team. Our staff not only reflect the communities we serve but also bring a wide range of expertise and lived experience to the IEA program. This diversity enhances our capacity to connect with, understand, and effectively support the unique needs of each participant and employer that we work with.
“The voices of participants and employers are central to our service design and we look forward to continuing this collaboration in the IEA program.”
