Recognition of Global Skills on National Corrections Day 2025

Global Skills is honoured to have received a Certificate of Appreciation from Bankstown Community Corrections, recognising our ongoing partnership in supporting reintegration outcomes for people involved in the justice system.

On 16 May, as part of the National Corrections Day 2025 celebrations, Global Skills Justice Services Manager Laura attended an event in Lakemba, where the contributions of organisations supporting corrections services were recognised.

The certificate reads in part: “Your ongoing commitment and contribution to the service’s needs plays a vital role in helping us achieve our mission to assist offender reintegration into the community through strong partnerships, responsive practices, cultural inclusions, and community engagement.”

Global Skills values our work with Bankstown Community Corrections in helping people take steps towards reintegration. Partnerships like this improve services and help build stronger connections across the community.
