Global Skills at WORK IT FEST St Marys

On Thursday 21 August, Global Skills had the privilege of participating in ‘WORK IT FEST’, with thanks to a collaboration between YES Employment, Schools Industry Partnership Work Placement Program, and Inspiring the Future.

The event open to students in years 10-12 and young job seekers was held at St Mary’s Leagues Club.

Young people across Penrith, St Marys, Blacktown & Cumberland had the opportunity to connect with 36 organisations allowing them the opportunity to explore career pathways and discover job opportunities in the local area. The event also provided a great opportunity for participants to explore skills required for different career paths and grow their network of training, employer and other support organisations.

Global Skills Community Development and Project staff Robby and Trent spent the day connecting with attendees on the employment support available through Global Skills services to across the Greater Western Sydney area,

Global Skills extends our thanks to everyone involved in ensuring the day was a success.
