Global Skills at the 2026 Western Sydney Employment, Life Skills & Leisure Expo

Yesterday, Global Skills had the wonderful opportunity to attend the 2026 Western Sydney Employment, Life Skills & Leisure Expo hosted by the Western Sydney Vocational Support Network at Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope.

The expo brought together senior school students with disability, along with their families, carers, teachers and support staff, to explore services and support available as students prepare for life after school. Students in Years 10, 11 and 12 from Government, Catholic and Independent Schools across Western Sydney attended the event.

Our team spent the day speaking with attendees about the support available through our Inclusive Employment Australia program. It was also a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections with other local community organisations supporting young people across the region.

It was lovely to hear feedback from parents and students that being able to speak with a range of organisations in one place helped them better understand the options available to them after school.

Global Skills extends our thanks to the Western Sydney Vocational Support Network and everyone else involved in organising and attending this valuable and successful event.
