On Thursday 28 August, Global Skills had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Hunter and Central Coast Future Choices Expo at Mingara Recreation Club, Tumbi Umbi.

Hosted by Career Links in partnership with the NSW Department of Education Support Teachers, the expo has been supporting students with disability and their families since 2000. It is designed to connect school leavers with the information and support they need to plan their next steps towards greater independence and inclusion.

The event brought together employment services, education and training providers, disability service organisations, government agencies, and local employers.

Global Skills staff Robby and Jennifer spent the day connecting with students, parents, carers and teachers about the services and pathways we offer.

It was a valuable opportunity to support our local community and strengthen our connections with other local services in the Central Coast region.
