Congratulations to Nancie from Global Skills Baulkham Hills for reaching 6 months at Harris Farm and progressing from the warehouse floor to the office team.

Nancie joined Global Skills in October 2024 and met her Employment Consultant, Melissa. She was focused on starting a positive new chapter and was open to exploring a new industry. After being referred for a role with Harris Farm, Nancie interviewed successfully and soon began working on the warehouse floor.

Now working in the Harris Farm warehouse office, Nancie manages invoice processing as pallets arrive, investigates processing errors, and resolves system issues. While she had previous office experience, the warehouse environment was new to her, and she has welcomed the variety her role provides.

Speaking about her work, Nancie said, “I love working at Harris Farm. I love the people and the culture. It’s a real team environment, and everyone just gets in and gets it done. I love the variety of my job. No two days are the same. Some days are busy, some quieter, but there is always something happening, and you are always on the go. It’s really great.”

Nancie also recognised the support she received along the way. “Melissa was great. She helped organise everything I needed to get started, including fuel vouchers, and made the whole process simple. It was amazing. Knowing you’ve got that person behind you just makes a difference.”
