Chloe Celebrates 6 months at Rashays

Congratulations to Global Skills participant Chloe, on reaching 6 months in her role at Rashays.

Chloe, 20, first joined Global Skills Workforce Australia service at Wyong in January 2024 where she was connected with her Employment Consultant, Sheree.

Chloe remembers, “After leaving school, I joined Global Skills because I felt I needed extra support to find work. The staff were amazing. They really supported me with everything I needed throughout my job search. Global Skills helped me get to where I am today.”

Chloe was interested in working in Hospitality and worked diligently to complete her Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) certificates at Intercept Training and then her Certificate III in Hospitality at Quality College of Australia. With her certificates in hand, Chloe joined Rashays as a bartender in August 2024 and has been working there ever since. She shared, “I’ve been at Rashays for 6 months, and I love it. It’s my dream job. I enjoy making drinks and assisting customers. Everyone at Rashays has been great, especially when I first started; they really took me under their wing. We work together like a family, supporting one another as a team.  Working has helped me come out of my shell while making things better financially.

“Sheree always reaches out to see how I’m doing. I really appreciate all the support I’ve received from Global Skills and also from the team at Rashays.”

Congratulations Chloe, from the entire team at Global Skills and thank you for sharing your story.
