On Saturday, Global Skills had the pleasure of attending the CBCC Youth Expo at Western Sydney University, Bankstown Campus. Our team spent the day showcasing our services, engaging with young people and their families, and building on our existing relationships with other local organisations and employers.
Today Global Skills raised much needed funds for Cancer Council NSW through Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. Funds are still coming in but we expect to raise over $1000.
Last week, Global Skills had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the ‘Mingaletta Youth Yarn Up’. This event invited Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young community members to connect with local youth services and activities on the Central Coast.
This week, Global Skills had the privilege of participating in the Blacktown Collaborative Dress for Success Expo, an event aimed at connecting women to local employment and community services.
Yesterday’s Sydney South West Local Jobs Expo was a wonderful opportunity for our team to showcase Global Skills employment services, take applications for current opportunities and collaborate with local employers and complimentary services in attendance.
Yesterday, Global Skills had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Sydney North & West Local Jobs Essentials Day at Central Coast Leagues Club in Gosford.
Global Skills continues our support of local charities with a donation of gifts for children who have experienced domestic violence.
This holiday season, Global Skills has extended our support to Dom’s Place, an initiative of CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay which provides essential support and services to people experiencing homelessness in Hornsby.
