GSPlus Providing Mental Health Support During Lockdown

Mental Health Support for job seekers: A reminder to our job seekers that our mental health service in partnership with Uniting, GSPlus, is continuing to provide telehealth services during the Sydney-wide COVID lockdown period to support you during these challenging times and beyond.

Job seekers can access a range of allied health professionals, including registered psychologists, who have experience in supporting individuals experiencing poor mental health.

Global Skills Director, Rebecca Nicholls, said the service aims to minimise the impact that mental health conditions have on job seekers’ ability to find and retain employment.

“I encourage all job seekers to contact their Global Skills employment consultant to discuss accessing the service. Through the provision of phone or video counselling we are making it practical and feasible for our job seekers to quickly access accredited services wherever they live.”
