Global Skills secures Transition to Work Program on NSW Central Coast

Global Skills is excited to announce our organisation has been awarded a contract to deliver the Australian Government’s Transition to Work (TtW) program on the NSW Central Coast (Sydney North and West Region). Delivery of the program will begin on 1 July from four sites including Lake Haven, Wyong, The Entrance and Gosford.

TtW supports young people aged 15-24 on their journey to enter employment or complete education. The service provides intensive, pre-employment support to improve the work-readiness of young people and help them into work (including apprenticeships and traineeships) or education.

The successful TtW contracts were announced on 28 February 2022, following a tender carried out by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment.

On winning the TtW contract, Global Skills Director Rebecca Nicholls said, “We are proud to be given the opportunity to deliver such an important service supporting young people engage and connect with employers and educational opportunities across the Coast.”

Global Skills currently delivers jobactive, Disability Employment Services, Time to Work Employment Services and Career Transition Assistance across Sydney Greater West and Sydney South West regions from an existing 18 locations.
