The Sydney WorldPride festival is set to be inclusive and accessible.

Global Skills is a proud member of the ACON Welcome Here Project. As part of our commitment to celebrating LGBTQIA+ communities, we are pleased to share that the first WorldPride in the Southern Hemisphere will be taking place in Sydney. The festival will run from 17 February to 5 March 2023. 

As a Disability Employment Services provider and advocate for inclusion in the workplace, we are also pleased to share that Sydney WorldPride is committed to removing access and inclusion barriers so that full participation by all people is possible.

Sydney Worldpride states, “We recognise our responsibility to shape our events and festival with access and inclusion at the forefront and to work to reduce barriers so that full participation by all people is possible. We have worked with expert consultants, community organisations and community members to create a Disability Inclusion Access Plan (DIAP) that will help us guide our work and make sure that we are creating our events with this work at the forefront.”
