Global Skills Senior Employment Consultant, Laura Howard has been employed with Global Skills for five years, and has worked hard to build her Employment Services industry skills and knowledge.

Meet our team: Scott Morton

“I love connecting with different types of people from all walks of life. My passion is getting to know who they are and what they can do.” Scott Morton is a Senior Employment Consultant in our Disability Employment Services (DES) program. He says his passion for working with people with disabilities came from spending his gap year in England.

Erin Mathews, one of our Work Retention Officers in our Centralised Services team was heading down the career path of teaching, when she “switched her thinking” and chose Employment Services instead.

Ven Panicker is Global Skills Regional Marketing Coordinator and remembers his decision to move from a product orientated career to one that is human centred, thanks to the kindness of a stranger.

“I love helping my job seekers because the majority are in the same position I was in”, says Global Skills Senior Consultant Vedrana who knows how it feels to start a new life in Australia. When Vedrana first arrived, her English language skills were zero.
