Last week, Global Skills had the privilege to once again participate in the Pathways to Employment Expo with thanks to the Fairfield Emerging Communities Action Partnership (FECAP). This annual event provides an invaluable opportunity for job seekers from migrant and refugee backgrounds to connect with local job opportunities, training programs, and community services all in one place.
Our team had a rewarding day showcasing how Global Skills supports migrant and refugee job seekers. They offered guidance on resumes, job applications, and connected attendees—many of whom are new arrivals from overseas—with relevant services.
Our Community Engagement Consultant Robert shared, “It was inspiring to meet so many new Australians and a privilege to provide employment information and connect them with essential services.”
